This Privacy Policy describes how Private Pocket AI (“Private Pocket AI”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you visit privatepocketai.com, buy our products, join Pocket Circle or contact us (together, the “Services”). We act as the “data controller” for the information described here.
The short version: the AI assistant you build with our Program runs on a server that you rent and control. We do not receive, store or have access to your conversations with it. We collect only what we need to take your order, support you and keep the website secure.

2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Order details: name, email address and country; billing details are collected by our payment provider.
- Support and contact messages: your name, email address, chosen topic and the content of your message and any attachments.
- Membership: details needed to administer Pocket Circle, such as your email, plan status and billing dates.
Information collected automatically
- Server logs: IP address, date and time, pages requested, referring page, browser and device type, and response codes. We use these for security, abuse prevention and troubleshooting.
Information we do not collect
- The contents of your conversations with the AI assistant on your own server.
- Your full payment card number, which is handled only by our payment provider.

4. Cookies and tracking
Our website does not use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies, and does not use third-party trackers. If we introduce any non-essential cookies in the future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where required. Essential, short-lived technical data (such as your server logs) is not used to profile you.
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not “share” it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We disclose information only to:
- Service providers acting on our behalf under written agreements: payment processing, email delivery and support, and website hosting and security.
- Professional advisers such as accountants and lawyers, under confidentiality.
- Authorities where required by law, court order or to protect rights, safety and property.
- A successor in the event of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
6. International transfers
We and our providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where personal data is transferred from the EEA, UK or Switzerland to a country without an adequacy decision, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK Addendum.
7. Retention
- Order and billing records: up to 7 years, to meet tax and accounting obligations.
- Support messages: up to 24 months after the matter is closed.
- Server logs: up to 90 days.
- Marketing preferences: until you unsubscribe, then a minimal suppression record.
After these periods, we delete or anonymise the data.
8. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), access controls, rate limiting and least-privilege access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for securing your own server and accounts; the Program includes a security checklist to help.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to: access your personal information; correct it; delete it; restrict or object to processing; receive a portable copy; withdraw consent; and not be discriminated against for exercising your rights. To exercise a right, email support@privatepocketai.com. We may need to verify your identity and will respond within one month (or 45 days where California law applies), extendable where permitted. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
10. Notice to California residents (CCPA/CPRA)
In the past 12 months we have collected the categories of personal information described in Section 3 (identifiers, commercial information and internet activity from server logs) for the business purposes described in Section 4. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by California law, and we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16. California residents may exercise their rights of access, correction and deletion by contacting support@privatepocketai.com; an authorised agent may submit a request on your behalf with proof of authority.
11. Marketing emails
We send promotional emails only if you opt in. Every promotional email contains an unsubscribe link. Service messages (receipts, support replies and important account notices) are not marketing and may still be sent.
12. Children
The Services are directed at adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact support@privatepocketai.com and we will delete it.
13. Third-party links
Our website may link to third-party sites, including hosting providers. We are not responsible for their privacy practices and encourage you to read their policies.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will change the “last updated” date above and, for material changes, give reasonable notice (for example by email or a notice on the site).
